Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus - April 2003

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey came to town in April. Grandma and Grandpa W. came with us and we had a great time. Our main reason for going was, of course, Natalie. The circus was held in the Comcast Spectrum, and we were just a couple rows from the main floor. Natalie was overwhelmed at first. They had a number of individual acts going on before the show and everyone was allowed on the floor prior to the show. She was somewhat afraid of all of the activity and just wanted to stay in her seat. I was finally able to get her to come with me and she had a blast. Because it was so extraordinarily different from anything she's done, I think she'll remember this event the rest of her life.
