Freddy Hill - Encore 2002

Last year's visit to Freddy Hill's with the Furmanski's was lots of fun, so we had to make another trip to Kulpsville. It was neat to see that Natalie remembered this place from last year. She and Donny were like seasoned vets. We went through the corn stalk maze, slid down the big slide, rode tricycles through an obstacle course, rode a pony, watched pig races, and took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and picked our own pumpkins. Natalie's favorite is definitely the corn maze.

Corn Maze Excitement

Check out the knees.

Thirty seconds into the maze and Natalie wiped out. Hands and knees were muddy and she was upset. A little TLC and a couple tissues later, we were mobile again and the smile returned.

Big Slide at the end of the corn maze.

Natalie did this by herself! Good for her.

The trike was a little big, but that wouldn't stop Natalie.

Donny (A.J. Foyt) Furmanski

Watch out all you slow pokes, Donny's going to run you over.

A high speed stretch was long enough for Donny to look at the camera and crack a smile.

I'll carry my own pumpkin Mommy.

Yes, the same pumpkin

I think she carried it almost everywhere for about 10 minutes.

Mission accomplished, pumpkins captured.

Ride back to the festival

I got a shot like this last year and had to do a repeat.

Jigs and bumps on the ride produced some giggles

I told her the tractor was running over pumpkins whenever the tractor had a larger than average jolt. Natalie thought that was funny.

Off-roading and having fun.

After Freddy's we went to Donny's house for dinner. Donny took Natalie around the house in his jeep. When I took this shot, they were, as Donny would say, "in turbos to the max" mode.
